2.Reading
When you receive the prescription, look over it carefully from beginning to end. Do not make any facial expressions that can cause the patient to have doubts or feelings. Make sure the patient’s name, age, and address are legible. If you make a mistake, ask your patients to help you fix it.
Examine; ingredients, dosage, and dosing form. If you have any doubts, visit a physician without exposing anything or causing any doubts in the patient’s mind.
Compounding time must be estimated by the pharmacist and communicated to the patient. If the procedure takes a long time, tell the patient to come back when the time is up.
3. Checking

Procedure for compounding
The pharmacist should assemble all the ingredients on the table, placing them on the left side of the balance.

- The container’s label should be written clearly, attractively, and accurately.
- Before affixing the label to the container, read it thoroughly.
- The patient’s name, age, dosage form name, directions for use, and storage conditions, such as store in a cool place or shake well before use or for external use, should all be included on the label.
- Fill the compounded medications into the appropriate container and affix the label. Compound the prescription by applying the standard techniques with accuracy.
6. Checking the product

7. Recording the information
